Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy describes how to cancel your Publitik subscription and in which situations you are entitled to a refund. It is an integral part of the Terms of Use.

1. 7-day trial

Every new account starts with 7 days of access to the Pro plan unlocked. A credit card is required at sign-up — no amount is charged during the 7 days.

If you do not cancel by the end of the 7th day, billing for the chosen plan happens automatically on the 8th day. You can cancel in one click at any time from the dashboard (Account → Subscription) or by emailing help@publitik.com — no charge, no justification required.

2. Cancelling an active subscription

After subscribing to a plan (monthly or annual), you can cancel at any time directly from the dashboard. Cancellation ends auto-renewal and keeps access active until the end of the cycle already paid for. There is no refund of amounts already paid — you continue to use the service for the period you contracted.

  • Monthly plan: access until the last day of the paid month. No new charges.
  • Annual plan: access until the end of the 12 paid months. No new renewal.

3. Right of withdrawal — individuals (Brazilian Consumer Code, art. 49)

If you are an individual and contracted remotely, the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code grants a 7 calendar day period from the charge for withdrawal, with full refund.

In practice, our 7-day trial already covers this period — by cancelling before the 8th day, nothing is charged and withdrawal becomes unnecessary. If you have been charged and wish to exercise the right of withdrawal within 7 days of the charge, write to help@publitik.com — we will fully refund the amount paid, via the same payment method, within 7 business days after confirmation.

This right does not apply to legal entities (B2B contracts, such as Enterprise) — business relationships are outside the scope of the Consumer Code.

4. Cancellation by us

We may suspend or terminate the account in cases of:

  • Payment failure for more than 7 days after automatic retries.
  • Violation of the Terms of Use (misuse, sharing beyond plan limits, content scraping, etc.).
  • Legal determination or court order.

In case of termination on our initiative for reasons not attributable to you (for example, service discontinuation), we refund the unused period on a pro-rata basis.

5. How to cancel

You have three paths:

  1. From the dashboard: go to Account → Subscription → "Cancel subscription". The process is one-click and you receive a confirmation email.
  2. By email: write to help@publitik.com from the registered email, with "Cancel subscription" in the subject.
  3. From the Stripe portal: subscribers receive a management link in the invoice, where they can cancel directly.
